M E L A N C O L I A 

In my photographic project "Melancolia" I refer to an iconic tradition, especially used in painting, which depicts feelings of melancholy and its interpretations. The melancholy oriental features of the model stand out on a dark seabed coloured background while natural light emphasises her absorbed expressions. Almost ecstatic, the protagonist is not abandoned in her grief, but intently to her "Œuvre au noir".
