Monia Merlo -nel titolare il suo ultimo progetto fotografico- si richiama a una lunga tradizione, soprattutto pittorica, che ha saputo rappresentare questo sentimento.
Ma nel farlo, non rinuncia alla propria interpretazione: i malinconici tratti orientali della sua modella si stagliano sui fondali scuri, mentre alla luce naturale è dato il compito di sottolineare l’espressione assorta, quasi estatica, della protagonista: non abbandonata al suo dolore, ma intenta alla sua “opera al nero”.

Ieri 24 novembre nella splendida cornice di Villa Necchi Campiglio, a Milano, L’Elite Model Look World final 2015 si è chiusa con un evento esclusivo, l’Elite New Wave: i 15 modelli finalisti sono stati fotografati live in sei set diversi indossando i capi realizzati da sei brand cinesi.
L’evento è stato organizzato in collaborazione con Vogue Italia e i modelli hanno interpretato lo stile dei sei finalisti di Vogue Talents for Asia: Youjia Jin e Cynthia & Xiao, disegnato da Cynthia Mak and Xiao Xiao, dalla Cina; Gayeon Lee dalla Corea del Sud; Eliran Nargassi da Israele; Abcense, disegnato da Yoyo Pan e Jhuosan Wang, da Taiwan; Minimal To, di Elisa Mazza, Danila Olivieri e Stefano Sberze, dall'Italia.
Le ragazze e i ragazzi hanno indossatoi capi disegnati da stilisti emergenti per delle capsule collections prodotte da aziende di moda cinesi: V-Grass, SC Fashion, Le Saunda, Canudilo H Holidays, Peacebird e Yi.
A immortalare i tableaux vivant che hanno animato le sale più belle della villa sono stati SCANDEBERGS, Anna di Prospero, Tania Innocenti, Monia Merlo, Guen Fiore, Dayana Montesano, i sei Photovoguers selezionati dal team di PhotoVogue.

VOGUE TALENTS FOR ASIA | ELITE NEW WAVE
On November 24 the magnificent setting of Villa Necchi Campiglio, in the heart of Milano, will turn into the venue of an exclusive event presenting the 15 best faces selected during the finals of the Elite contest, the "Elite New Wave". The new faces that are very likely to become famous in the next seasons fronting campaigns and walking runways, will be wearing the garments created by the six finalist international brands selected for Vogue Talents for Asia:Youjia Jin and Cynthia & Xiao, designed by Cynthia Mak and Xiao Xiao, from China; Gayeon Lee from South Korea; Eliran Nargassi from Israel; Abcense, designed by Yoyo Pan and Jhuosan Wang, from Taiwan; Minimal To, designed by Elisa Mazza, Danila Olivieri and Stefano Sberze, from Italy.
The models will be wearing the garments and accessories of the capsule collections created by the designers in collaboration with top-level Chinese clothing brands V-Grass, SC Fashion, Le Saunda, Canudilo H Holidays, Peacebird ande Yi.
And six Photovoguers, selected by the PhotoVogue team, will be shooting the tableaux vivants that will liven up the most beautiful halls of the villa, in the heart of Milan.
